i agree with immam rauf

i never thought i'd say what i'm about to say, i agree with this recent statement from immam rauf:

‘The United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al-Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims.’

it's true! the united states has more men & more weapons than al qaeda. we also have better surveillance and reconnaissance. let's face it, we are better at warfare than al qaeda.

technically, the US has fired the weapons that have killed innocent muslims. however, the blame for this innocent blood has to land right at the feet of islamic extremism. western warfare has always had some air of chivalry. we in the west, do not deliberately put ourselves in the positions where the lives of civilians are threatened during intense fire fights or bombings. this can not be said of muslim extremists. in fact, the very opposite can be said of our enemies! they deliberately hide behind "innocent muslims" in the heat of battle. they build their bunkers under the general population. they use their brothers & sisters as human shields while firing on our soldiers. this fact has been thoroughly documented. it can not be disputed. so, where does the blame lie in cases such as this? does the blame lie with the women and children who buy into the lie that they are serving allah when they protect terrorists? does the blame lie with the muslim terrorists who pressure the innocent civilians to act as a human shield? or, is it the big mean united states killing machine that takes the blame?

innocent muslims have died in our effort to stamp out the muslim terrorists that threaten civilization across the globe, of that we can be sure! but the finger can be pointed only in one direction, east. if innocent muslims begin to stand up to the bullies that give their religion a bad name and support the efforts of the west to rid the world of these vicious barbarians, then fewer of them will die and more of the bad guys will.
